Science:
Monday: We will begin a discussion of cycles in nature starting with the water cycle. They will need to finish the workshet that goes along with the activity we do.
Tuesday: We will discuss the carbon cycle and do a couple of activities to make this make more sense to them. They will have a worksheet that goes along with the activity to complete if they don't finish in class.
Wednesday: We will discuss the nitrogen cycle and play a game to better show how it works. No homework
Thursday: We will do some online activities to review the basic cycles. They will need to read pl 508-511 in Chapter 19 and do the questions.
Friday: We will set up an experiment to see the nitrogen cycle in action. No homework! Enjoy the break.
Health:
Monday: We will review blood types, heart structure and blood flow through the heart for the test on Tuesday. They will have a worksheet over the reading in their folder to do.
Tuesday: Quiz over the circulatory system. We will begin talking about the respiratory system. No homework
Wednesday - Thrusday: No homework. We will have speakers from the Pregnancy Care Center.
Friday: We will do some activities to explore the respiratory system. No homework!!
